So I’ve been pretty much MIA for a while now and for that I’m sorry. I’ve missed you all so much, but life just kind of took over.

So let me back up and share what’s been going on with me. Last summer I did a big bang and I thought to not distract myself and stay off tumbler and other stuff till I got it done. And while I was doing that, work decided to get oh so fun. My manager retired, our part timer quit, and we were (and still are actually) down a full timer. So it just left me to run the department for about two months. Yeah, so much fun!

And I think it just kind of tired me out. So I kind of drifted and the holidays came up and I drifted some more. Really didn’t think it would end up being this long. Then I got self conscious about coming back. Maybe I didn’t have a place here anymore. Yeah self doubt I love yay, (not.)

I haven’t entirely been without internet though. I got into Teen Wolf (thank you tumbler for introducing me the the concept of Sterek.) And right now I’m hung up on the Hobbit. (yeah I got on Bilbo/Thorin band wagon.) And I’m having a love affair with the color purple. Seriously everything is purple for me right now.

The muses have been quiet for me until recently, I’ve got a hobbit idea kind of bouncing around and I’ve got an original idea forming, which is kind of really fun right now. Well at least I’ve got a few sentences written down.

And while I was gone I see Roy/Tim has kind of got a fanbase thanks to Young Justice! (So mad that got canceled.) This makes me so happy! There’s even fanart! My OTP finally has fanart!

And hello to the people who started following me while I was gone. Thank you so much!

So those are the hightlights for me. Thanks for reading all my babbling. :)

How did you get interested in fanfiction? - I was reading the Harry Potter books and I wanted more (this was right between after book 6 came out) So I went looking to see what could be out there.

What was your first fandom? Your first OTP? - Well Harry Potter was the first fandom I started reading, but I never wrote anything for it. My first OTP was actually Harry/Remus/Sirius.

Do you review all the fanfics you read, most, or do you prefer to read and move on? If you write, what’s the best review you’ve ever gotten? The worst? - Honestly I don’t review all of them, but I do try though tumblr makes me cheat and hit the like button. Oh I’ve gotten so many good reviews I can’t think of one in particular, but I love all the reviews I’ve ever gotten. Bad reviews have mostly been about grammar and spelling, which is okay I know I screw and don’t mind someone saying something needs to be fix.

Favorite AU to read? To write? - I love fantasy and stuff with knights and kings and queens and stuff like that.

What’s your favorite genre to read? To write? - I happier stuff or angst that ends happy. Why yes I am a huge sap. So huge.

What are your biggest fanfiction pet peeves? - I really don’t have any I don’t think. Mind I say that now and a hour later I’ll come up with three or four.

Do you have any crackships? - I don’t know if it’s a crackship or not but I write Kon/Roy/Tim.

Do you have any ships you don’t like or used to but don’t anymore? - I’m not so much into Dick/Roy. I mean I don’t hate it or anything I’m just not loving it.

Are there any kinks you love to read? Any you avoid? - Is Tim getting kidnapped a kink? Because I love it when he gets kidnapped. I really don’t care for a lot of blood play or bodily fluids.

Do you prefer to read fanfics in first, second, or third-person POVs? To write? - I prefer writing in third person, but I’m open to read anything really.

Do you read exclusively NC-17 fanfics, or will you read any rating? - I’ll read any rating.

What’s the latest you’ve stayed up reading a fanfic? Writing one? - For reading I’ve stayed up till one or two in the morning. I write better in the morning so I’ll get up at six to start writing.

Is there a website you’re partial to when you search for fanfiction, or do you more read whatever you can get your hands on? - When it comes to writing, is there a website you prefer to use for publishing your fanfics? I started out over on LJ and now over here on tumblr for both my reading and writing.

How long have you been “18”? - I was 18 for a whole year. It happened right between years 17 and 19. I was much older than 18 when I got into fandom stuff. I don’t even think I had a home computer when I was 18.

Are there any plot ideas you want to either do or see someone else do? - I always have some idea going through my head. They all jumble together sometimes. There’s a Dick and Tim drabble I did that I want to expand on. They’re both magic users who’ve estranged from each other. I had a lot of fun writing that one and I love Dick as Batman and Tim as Red Robin. That’s at the top of my head. (I’ve got a hyperactive eight year old next to me so ideas are limited right now.)

Do you associate certain songs with certain ships or fanfics? If you could make a playlist for your OTP(s), which songs would be on there? - I really don’t associate any type of OTP. I really should look into that.

Do you follow any RPs? Do you RP? - I do stuff over on dcu6wordstories. I’ve got several characters going over there - a lot of Tims.

What’s on your fanfiction rec list? - Oh that’s hard, anything by aravistarkheena on LJ, me_ya_ri, whipsy and that’s just off the top of my head there is just too may wonderful writers for me to list.
